Jesse said his last hurrah at church and had a small get together at the parent's house.
This is us at the final shindig.
There are lots of pictures from the day, but I'll just share these two because I think they're funny:

Happy Birthday to me! Andy gave me the best gift EVER - he took care of the boy in the morning so I could sleep in. It was magical. When I woke up, he had a breakfast complete with his famous waffles and fresh strawberries, and then he gave me lots of presents. We went out for lunch, and to my favorite ice cream place, and then sadly he had to leave town for work. On the way to the airport, we stopped at my parent's house for pictures, and then he was off.
After pictures, we went to Jesse's little meeting that made him an official missionary. Then we came back to the house, ate pizza and chocolate, and called it a night.

And here are little cousins Calvin and Aby relaxing after a stressful day:

They used to have a presentation for the entire family when you dropped off your missionary, but because there have been several cases of swine flu at the Missionary Training Center in the last month or so, now all you're allowed to do is drop them off at the curb and say, "see you in two years!" It was sad to see him go, but I know he's excited about the new adventure.
