Yesterday we took Carrie to see the world renowned National Cherry Blossom Festival. It was her first time on a Metro and it was PACKED, and then there were hundreds of thousands of people in DC for the opening of the festival, a kite flying tournament, soccer competitions, rugby games, and a marthon. I've never seen so many people there at one time. The blossoms were in full bloom and looked gorgeous. Calvin missed the whole thing, sleeping in his stroller, but the rest of us had a great time. It was really the perfect year to go.
