Oh Baby!

I guess now that we have pictures and a gender, it seems more official. We found out last week that we're having a little girl! We couldn't be more thrilled. She was chewing on her fist and kicking her legs, just being active and adorable. She has a perfect little profile, especially her pert little nose. We're half way done and can't wait to meet her in November. Poor Calvin has no idea that he's about to be forced into sharing his perfect little life.

I was wondering when you would add to your beautiful family. So exciting to have one of each. Congrats you guys. I adore being pregnant and wish I was in the same situation. Keep up the great posts.

I just had to tell you that your ultrasound pics reminded me when my dear auntie was pregnant w/her daughter. She had a son 14 years previous, so when she got pregnant again, she really wanted to see if she could get lucky and have a girl to round out their family. The ultrasound tech was showing them body party: leg, arm, head and such. When it got time to do the privates she added the arrow that announced that that part was The Little Princess. It's always been a joke in our family and Julianna has always been her Little Princess ever since. Thanks for sharing you two.

HS: I'm glad you liked the pics. As I was posting them I was thinking, "maybe other people don't like to see anyone elses US besides their own. They are a bit creepy in a way." I'm excited you and I will have the same family dynamic - you'll have to give me pointers along the way.
LC: Thanks! I'm excited. I generally don't get around to telling people things so having a blog to post relevant information is nice.
HW: Prego and glowing? I've seen prego pictures of you and you were adorable! Me? Not so much. By August I'll look like a monster who has eaten several small children. Not pretty. I'm excited to see you though!
R: Now I'm a bit jealous that ours is just a plain girl and not a little princess. :-)
MM: Glad to see you're alive and surviving school! We were in DC at the same time a few weeks ago. I heard the girls had fun at lunch with you. Ah, the good old days!
